How does hypnotherapy work?
Though some people are wary of this technique, hypnotherapy is highly effective – especially when done at your own speed and in a safe space, such as your counselling session. Hypnotherapy allows you to slow down your brain waves and enter a very relaxed state. From here, I guide you on a ‘journey’ that is prompted by questions specific to you and the topic we’re exploring.
The real beauty of hypnotherapy is that this journey is personal to you and does not have to be articulated out loud. I am simply there to guide and you may talk as much or as little as you need. Hypnotherapy is particularly good for healing the experiences for which words do not come easily.
